Tutorial: GRIME
3 Jun
Do you ever think that 3D renderings look too perfect or too clean? Rendered perspectives can look sterile for many reasons. A lack of atmospheric blending, the same crispness of line in the foreground and background, too much saturation in the colors, all of these combinations can create renderings that look a little plastic. In a creative attempt to mitigate the sterility of these renderings some designers are adding grime to their images. Literally, grime. This tutorial will show you some examples of grime in contemporary renderings and illustrate how you two can add some imperfections to a rendering.
